Vice-Rector Hermínio Arias Nalini Júnior received, on May 10th, at the Rectory, the visit of Prof. François-Olivier Seys, Vice- Rector of International Relations at the University of Lille (France).

In that occasion, Prof. François expressed his interest in increasing cooperation with UFOP, which has been ongoing since 2009. He also talked about the work of the University of Lille's Office in the city of Belo Horizonte, which aims to bring closer and strengthen the partnerships of the French institution with institutions of the state of Minas Gerais.

Professor Vanessa Mosqueira, Pro-Rector of Research and Graduate Studies, also participated in the meeting and presented the possibilities of cooperation in the field of Post-Graduate and Research. According to Vanessa, with this closer approach between the two institutions, it is expected that projects in areas such as biotechnology, heritage, social inclusion, recovery of the environment, pharmaceutical sciences, among others can be developed in partnership.
