In 2019 UFOP completes 50 years of foundation. In order to celebrate it, several activities will be held throughout the year. Exhibitions, debates, and other events will contribute to recovering the memory of the creation and development of the University, as well as reflecting on its trajectory and its future. The event program, which will be released later, will be dynamic, and activities organized by UFOP community will be integrated into the commemorative schedule, with the understanding that the history of the institution continues to be built daily.

A UFOP 50-year commemorating stamp was created, which should be used in all temporary materials and in virtual pages. In the permanent documents, the traditional mark will remain unchanged. It is important that each sector collaborates to reinforce the celebrations, always using the logo of the 50th anniversary in their publications and dissemination during this period.
The new stamp retains the identity of the University's traditional mark with gray and wine colors, including black and white variations. The idea is to use it in all publicity material during 2019. There is also a gold version, reserved to celebrate institutional events (UFOP anniversary).

Both the traditional logo and the commemorative stamp have a user’s manual that must be followed in their usage. In order to avoid the wrong uses, it is important to follow the new manual. In case of unforeseeable issues in the document, UFOP Institutional Communication Coordination should be consulted.

In some websites, such as the Pro-Rectory ones, the logos must be changed directly by Information Technology Center (NTI). In the others they must be replaced by administrative and academic departments themselves. If you manage a University website, please update your page.
The commemoration will continue during 2019, having as high point the date August 21st, University’s anniversary.

Be part of this movement, make proposals, reinforce the importance of a free, high-quality and public education institution, guided by the values of ethics and transparency. Be part of this celebration you too and help to strengthen this path and the feeling that WE ARE ALL UFOP!
